This training day was created following requests from a number of people who are the first point of contact in a diocese or religions congregation, and who may have to receive or signpost safeguarding concerns.
This training day was designed to develop the skills of those who are administrators or secretaries to the Bishop/Provincial/Superior based in diocesan/provincial offices or bishop’s houses.
The day included presentations and practical workshops on receiving and signposting safeguarding concerns and understanding the roles and functions of key personnel in each diocese/religious congregation.
