Cashel Ecclesiastical Provincial Area Meeting

His Grace, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly hosted an Ecclesiastical Provincial Area Meeting on the 31^st October 2018,assisted by the National Office for Safeguarding Children.

The purpose of the event was for staff from the National Office to meet with Bishops, Provincials, Superiors, designated liaison people (DLP) and trainers from dioceses, religious congregations and orders across the Cashel and Emly ecclesiastical province area, to discuss common issues of interest to further develop best practice in relation to safeguarding children. Topics for discussion included:

• GDPR
• Review Methodology 
• Mandatory Reporting 
• Update on Guidance
• Update on Training

Time:      10:30am Tea/Coffee & Registration

               11:00am - 1:00pm Meeting

               1:00pm - 2:00pm Lunch
