The National Board hosted a Safeguarding Conference in the Tullamore Court Hotel, County Offaly (see map). The conference will commenced on the Thursday 13th October with mass at 5pm in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore followed by an opening address and welcome dinner. The conference continued through the next day (14th October) with speakers from a range of backgrounds focusing on key developments in safeguarding within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
