View guidance by role

On this page you can view the relevant pieces of the guidance for each role in the safeguarding structure. This will make it easier to examine only those pieces of guidance which are relevant to your role.

To access the relevant guidance for your role:

1. Select your role from the list provided and left click.
2. This will bring up three options for you to choose from:

  • Church body category 1- select this option if your Church body has ministry with children. This is covered by Table 1 of the safeguarding policy (page 16 and 17).
  • Church body category 2- select this option if your Church body has no ministry with children but is managing cases. This is covered by Table 2 of the safeguarding policy (pages 18 and 19).
  • Church body category 3- select this option if your Church body has no ministry with children and not currently managing cases. This is covered by Table 3 of the safeguarding policy (page 20).

3. Once you select an option, a new page will open up displaying all of the relevant guidance from the standards for your role in your Church body.
These can be:

  • Printed off to create a hard copy resource pack or procedures document.
  • Linked to your website.
  • Stored electronically to create an electronic resource pack or procedures documents.

Viewing the guidance this way will show you just individual guidance pieces without hyperlinks or tables of contents.
