This day is for Church authorities, DLPs and Church Leaders.
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly shaping the world in which we minister, communicate and safeguard. This pastoral leadership workshop invites all to reflect prayerfully and prudently on what AI is and is not, and how it is already influencing Church life. At the same time, it will address the real concerns surrounding AI, including data protection, digital manipulation, over-reliance on automated systems, and emerging risks to children and vulnerable persons, particularly in light of safeguarding responsibilities. Participants will consider how AI may influence and reshape safeguarding procedures, governance structures and episcopal oversight, ensuring that new technologies always serve the dignity of the human person and the protection of the vulnerable, as set out in Antiqua et Nova. This reflective and practical gathering offers Church and safeguarding leaders the opportunity to discern together how best to respond faithfully and responsibly in a rapidly evolving digital age.
Tea/Coffee and scones during registration from 10am, the event begins at 10:30am.
The cost for this training is 30 euro per person.
