TRAUMA INFORMED WORKSHOP - Understanding and Responding to Trauma

Towards Healing in partnership with the Archdiocese of Dublin and the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland (NBSCCCI) are delighted to bring you this free workshop which is designed for those in Church Leadership, Designated Liaison Officers, Safeguarding Officers, and members of congregations within the Catholic Church working with Survivors of childhood clerical or religious abuse.

The workshop aims to deliver essential knowledge on trauma, its psychological and psychosocial impacts, and practical strategies for grounding and self-regulation.

Join us for this essential training to enhance your knowledge and skills in trauma-informed practice.

Towards Healing is a free and confidential counselling and support service for survivors of childhood clerical or religious abuse in Ireland. Funded by the Catholic Church, it provides professional and trauma-informed therapy and support to individuals who have experienced abuse within Church settings.

Places are limited to 50. However, Towards Healing are committed to providing similiar training online or on site over the coming months.
